Time space and symbolism

At a time marked by philosophical reflections on time and its relationship with space Cecília Meireles and Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen gave the world their first poetic writings in which they reveal that these same reflections are not distant from poetry. On the contrary in a space-time characterized by the transience of things poetry presents itself as a form of balance in the midst of passage avoiding the total dispersion of being. This book focuses on the forms that space and time take in the poetry of both writers investigating the possibility of these images serving to reveal the human experience in time and space.
