Timeline - The Journey

Timeline is a medley of sixty-four poems presenting crucial events in our countrys history.A timeline is defined as a linear graph depicting events in the order they occur giving the observer a frame of reference. From delineating the ages of the earth to mapping the history of any given event a timeline reveals and truncates the much longer story.Mysterious beginnings mans creation of god and religion the impact of 1619 the genocide of Native Americans the Civil War Industrial Revolution coal mining immigrant masses coming to America at the turn of the twentieth century the Holocaust World War II A-Bomb post atomic era television civil rights sci-fi sports music of the times crime organized labor and guns. The horror of addiction the unspeakable tragedy of 9/11 Katrina fatally flawed Middle East policies resulting in millions of Arab deaths.
