About The Book

Tina Chantrey is a mum to three girls as well as an author journalist and running coach. She is a contributing editor of Womens Running UK magazine; her freelance career spans over 20 years during which she has written on all aspects of health fitness and nutrition for titles like Zest Top Santé Mother and Baby Pregnancy & Birth and Cosmopolitan. In 2016 Tina blogging as shewhodaresruns won Silver in the Best Blog section of the Running Awards placing her as second best blogger in the UK.Just as importantly Tina is a runner. You can see her on the trails and on the road as she continues to prove that you can be competitive in your mid-40s (she continues to place in the top 100 women in her age group in the UK over several distances). Tina is also a qualified running coach. She is in contact with women on a national as well as grassroots level where she coaches every week in her local community. Tina was appointed as one of England Athletics Mental Health Ambassadors when the scheme first launched in 2016; they work in their local community to promote the benefits of running to everyones mental as well as physical health. #runandtalk Tinas running career took hold when she experienced the traumas of a very difficult divorce and running proved to be immensely helpful in enabling her to successfully cope on her own with a divorce and three young children.
