This story is set in 2070 when Americas government has collapsed and this has left families to fend for themselves. Kate and her family live in Stockton California. Her father is over protective but Carol Kates sister is not having it and makes decisions that leaves her family worried. While out looking for her missing sister Kate finds herself kidnapped fighting for her own freedom and finds herself in love with the person who took it all away. This is a story of love. A love for family a struggle to find self-love and ultimately a love for someone that isnt meant to be.
