Paul Sharad P. Paul was born in England in 1966 but grew up in India. He confines his New Zealand medical practice to skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. Sharad is also a senior lecturer in surgery at the University of Auckland and in skin cancer at the University of Queensland Australia. His first novel Cool Cut was published in 2007. He also owns an award-winning independent bookstore/cafe Baci Lounge which put profits into literacy and mentoring programs for disadvantaged children.
