<p>This book is a collection of non fiction stories by the miner poet Chen Nianxi.</p><p> </p><p>As a tunnel blasting worker Chen Nianxi dived deep into the earth at a depth of 5000 meters using explosives and pickaxes to blast open mountains and chisel out gold silver copper iron and nickel.</p><p> </p><p>Accompanying him through life and death were Wang Er Decheng Xiaozhazi and others with equally humble fates. Later some people ran into a mist of blood in the explosion while others were cut in half by the air waves.
