To Reflect the Truth That God Knows - A Mother of Fourteen Ponders Pastoral Theology - Papers Essays Study Guides and Reflections

As a mother of fourteen children ages twenty-four to four at the age of fifty-one I was most providentially given a window of opportunity to obtain a Master's Degree in Theological Studies summa cum laude from Ave Maria University's Institute for Pastoral Theology. My three year course commenced in August of 2011 six months after my husband survived a bone marrow transplant for stage IV leukemia and ended in June of 2014 with the folding of the program itself. What a blessing and a privilege to study from the original sources the teachings of the Catholic faith instructed in person by truly devout and learned professors. For my part even though I often felt lost and confused yet at the same time convinced this is what God wanted of me I can honestly say I gave every course my best effort although my resulting work as will be attested hereto is far from perfectly scholarly! Yet I humbly share it for the good that may be gained for His glory alone.
