Bobby Moegle coached baseball at Lubbock Monterey High School from 1960 to 1999. He was the first high school baseball coach inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame on the strength of 1115 wins four state championships and 13 appearances in the state tournament (the final four).He made his first state tournament appearance in 1961 and his final appearance in 1997.
