Tom Jobim - Musical Trajectory

<p>Tom Jobim (1927-1994) was the leader of a delicate revolution. The transformation he set in motion through bossa nova was so subtle that we often forget just how profoundly he altered the course of Brazilian music - as if it were all very natural.</p><p><br></p><p>My art is about total freedom. If as a man I was conventionally petty bourgeois as an artist I redeemed myself through the vastness of love.</p><p><br></p><p>This volume of Musical Trajectories includes an essay about Tom Jobim's life and work along with one of the last interviews ever conducted with the artist in 1993 and his discography. </p>
