Too Cold for the Weather

Too Cold for the Weather follows the life of a young woman who chooses to become a nurse practitioner after she experiences a tragedy in her life. The story begins with Rosie the protagonist at the funeral of a man who provided guidance and stability for her when her life lacked direction. His death leads to her agony but it catalyzes her career. The story is about the development of her professional and personal life; it parallels her learning patient care as she learns about herself. It moves quickly to follow her from her initial floundering to her graduate schoolwork to her misguided affairs and ultimately to meeting the man she will marry and finding the job of her dreams.
