Tool and Methodology for Optimal Design of Synchronous Motors

In this book we describe a tool and methodology of systematic design of synchronous motors dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) application. Indeed a synchronous modular motor structure to permanent magnets and axial flux reducing the production cost that can presented under several configurations is defined and restraint in relation to the its equivalent structure with coiled rotor. The choice of the static converter oriented toward a structure to electromagnetic switches is in the goal to increase the reliability of the global system.
