Cosmo Topper a drab and staid bank manager chooses to purchase a flashy car only to learn that it is haunted by its previous owners George and Marion Kerby in Thorne Smiths funny and ribald comedy. The evil souls of George and Marion together with a few other ghostly companions and an attractive dog set out to mislead the honourable Topper and give him a new perspective on life. Drinks flow practical jokes are rampant and even if hes not always eager George changes. He understands that there are countless options and that life is what you make of it.
