This is a story about Playniya A first-generation Dominicana who works endlessly to fulfill her parents' wish for her to achieve the American Dream. In this effort she abandons her life as an artist to work in the soul-sucking corporate world but this decision only breeds resentment boredom and dissatisfaction. When she begins to fail at the life she chose but didn't want in the first place the possibility of a successful life seems more and more like wishful thinking.</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Wrapped up in the shame and guilt of her perceived failures Playniya tries to take her own life. Like every other choice she's made it doesn't go as planned. Instead she wakes up in a simulation. Through a peculiar set of obstacles visions of her ancestors and the reprimands of angels the simulation forces her to face her biggest enemy: herself.</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>If Playniya is unable to forge her way through to the other side of this metaphysical trip the alternative is grim. Her desperation to end her life slowly becomes the will to live but will she be too late to overcome her past mistakes and find her way back to her true self?</span></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
