<p>Rick has done his best to avoid Melissa - his best friend's little sister and literally the girl next door.  However when Melissa has caught the attention of an aggressive drug dealer who comes into her coffee shop - a dog hybrid with a seriously bad rap-sheet - Rick can't let her go it alone.</p><p></p><p>What he doesn't expect is how hard it will be to keep his hands to himself. He's always avoided touching anyone outside of work lest he force them to tell the truth without their knowledge but with Melissa? He forgets about what his <em>touch talent</em> does and he wants to ignore what <em>hers</em> is doing to him.</p><p></p><p>When his help puts her in more danger and her touch starts affecting him on the job something has to be done.</p><p></p><p><strong>First in series but can be read as a standalone.</strong></p>
