Tough Millennium

Since 2000 Ed has experienced and documented in his poetry at least three life changing the cancers and eventual passing in 2008 of his dear wife Ellen; the burning and rebuilding of their house in 2004-2005; and his own quadruple bypass in 2005. TOUGH MILLENNIUM is the poetic record of these events and their effects on his life.Ed Scutt is a retired high school Language Arts Teacher. In his retirement he is active as a student and teacher at OSHER Lifelong Learning Institute at RIT. He is an award winning community theatre actor and playwright and a director in community theatre. Ed is a published poet and a reader who is active in the Rochester Poetry Community. He lives with his two literary though not literate dogs Holden and Huck.
