Towards a Parliament for Cats

Louis is fighting for the rights of cats. He says:Trouble is in society we're bottom of the list. Of rights we have none. We are disenfranchised. That means we can't vote. There are no votes for cats. That is why I am beginning this consciousness-raising campaign working towards a Parliament for Cats. For we are not merely miaow-machines tender on the tactile; we are not just moggies four-legged friendly furry and cute; we are feline fellahs and fellarinas guys and dolls with brains hopes and ambitions. We have our dreams. Mine is for a full parliament of cats all seats filled after being duly contested so we can begin the true democratisation of the feline kingdom. Let's fight for the rights of moggies!
