Towards the Action-Time based model for managing hazards and disasters

This book is about enhanced disaster risk management interventions for managing flood hazards and disasters. Although many interventions are pointed out in the book for use by governments and disaster practitioners the book offers the Action-Time based disaster model as the major intervention. This model is a new approach towards the management of disasters in general and flood disasters in particular. The Action-Time based disaster overcomes the weaknesses of many other known models for disaster management.
