Toxicity of DFB and FCX on embryonic development in hens

About The Book

Chemical control of crop pests has intensified with new products appearing every year with little understanding of their impact on the environment and above all on living beings. The toxicity of the two pesticides was investigated through growth respiratory metabolism using the polarography technique and general morphology. In chicken embryos we monitored average egg weight and hematological anatomical and morphological parameters in ovo and after hatching. Egg treatment revealed an increase in average egg weight a decrease in average shell weight and an increase in liver weight accompanied by a disturbance in biochemical (GOT GPT) and haematological parameters. In addition our results show that malformations are observed in some embryos.
