TRADITIONAL CLOTHES AND JEWELRY OF KHOREZM

This monograph is dedicated to the analysis of the history of traditional clothes and jewelry of Uzbeks in Khorezm oasis at the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th centuries and ethno-territorial peculiarities of customs and traditions connected with them.The issue of Khorezm’s traditional clothes being kept in the museums is wider illustrated in the book. There are analyzed similar and different ethno-local peculiarities of the traditional clothes of the Uzbeks in the oasis and the clothes of other peoples living in the area i.e. Turkmen Karakalpak people on the basis of scientific literatures and field writings.The monograph is addressed to specialists and wide range of readers.
