Katherine Stafford Is An Independent Forensic Investigator Who Is Lured Away From Her Miami Life Back To Rural South Dakota To Help An Old Friend Solve A Murder Of An Old Sheepherder. The Line Between Indian And Rancher Still Exists As Kate Travels The Towns In South Dakota And Realizes One Can Never Really Go Back Home.
