Training in general medicine and lack of gynecology rotation

Nowadays the general practitioner is the specialist of first resort who coordinates the patient''s care ensures the synthesis allows the continuity of care within the framework of a long term follow-up and develops a public health approach. His field of action is thus broad and multidisciplinary. Qualified in primary care he must ensure the follow-up of his patients and as such has a legitimate place in the gynecological follow-up of women.
