Training Needs of Farmer in Relation to Organic Farming Practices

With a view to support organic farming in future it seems efficacious to determine the training needs of organic farmers in relation to organic farming practices. The objective of the research were to study the profile characteristics of the respondents find out extent of adoption and knowledge level of organic farming practices to ascertain the relationship with selected characteristics of organic trained and untrained farmers and their extent of adoption and knowledge level of organic farming practices to determine the appropriateness of methods time and techniques used for training constraints faced during adoption of these practices and suggestions provided by organic farmers to overcome the above constraints.
