Training of Trainers Manual on Competency-Based Education and Training

CBET is the specification of knowledge skills and attitudes and the application of the same to the standard of performance expected in the workplace. CBET can be viewed as a way of approaching vocational training that puts much emphasis on what a person can do as a result of training and as such represents a shift away from an emphasis on the process involved in the training. The purpose of this manual is to provide a clear roadmap on how to train trainers to develop competency-based curricula based on occupational standards. The manual has also given guidelines and procedures for developing training programs and training and learning standards. The process of task analysis and competency-based assessment have also been given.
