Transition House 1976-2017.

Based on archival research and interviews with more than 60 people connected to Transition House from its creation to the present Ann Fleck-Henderson tells the story of the organization's unconventional evolution from a feminist collective to a more formally structured social service nonprofit organization. It documents the organization's efforts to balance loyalty to its radical roots with the demands of a changing context while maintaining an unwavering commitment to ending domestic violence and supporting survivors of abuse.
