History! What is it? Why do you need to flip through the pages of history? And how to look at it? Earlier than now and before the explosion that happened at the port of Beirut on August 4 2020 I was trying to run away from Lebanon’s history. Why to escape from it? Because I was thinking that it would be hard to read and research about Lebanon without being empathetic with one party more than another. I was fearing to become the human I did not want to be. Until now I do know a little about the history of the country and I do believe that a majority of citizens do know about it but only from one side of the story.How does knowing history from one perspective affect us? Where does it lead to? How to create a book with the full history; complete canvas? Full free from the lens of prejudice while sharing all the facts and all the feelings?
