Trapped

Ten-year-old Janet Farmers life is anything but normal. Living with her drug-addicted mother and Joe her moms mean and lazy live-in boyfriend Jan is forced to be the caregiver of her younger siblings. She bathes them cooks for them gets them ready for school tucks them into bed at night and takes beatings for them whenever anything goes wrong. She clings to the warm memories of her father wishing he was still alive so she could have a better life.Jan feels unwanted and unloved. Depression abandonment and frustration about the hand shed been dealt plague her resulting in Jan making a series of bad decisions . . . some of which come with lifelong consequences.As the years pass Jan wades through her emotions and actions wondering if she will always be stuck in the never-ending nightmare that is her life. Spiritually and emotionally wounded Jan is unsure what it will take for her to ever experience hope.
