Trapping the flow

Jake a Psychiatrist living in 2036 sees his client portfolio exploding with unhappy twenty somethings. The modern world as he sees it has become a comfort-orientated society bereft of actual enjoyment hence he defines Flow as the feeling of enjoyment and Trapped as its polar opposite and since when trapped we seek comfort; ergo according to Jake all society is trapped. On this basis he has set about developing a critically acclaimed self-help guide entitled his Scale of Perception. Jakes brother Gregg whilst also preoccupied with claiming to be haunted by a nomad optimises these social ills that Jake so loathes. From a malformed product of society he becomes a product of Jake and his work-in-progress Scale of Perception.
