Traveling Companion

<p>Raised by a single mother this Boy Scout became a soldier at the age of seventeen. At nineteen he was on the front line in Korea. He was wounded in combat and thankfully he survived. He continued to serve his country for the following twenty years. After a two and a half year tour of duty in Japan and Korea he returned to the United States. He married his high school sweetheart and together they traveled the world. He served in several foreign countries and a number of places across the beautiful United States of America.</p><p>Joel Ledford and his wife Margaret raised four precious children. They were good little travelers also. He faithfully served God family and country. His deployments around the world were made easier by their love and support for each other. They were devoted traveling companions.</p>
