Treasure Hidden

<p>Before He entered my world and transformed it miraculously I went about my days giving no thought to my Maker. I was a high school art teacher back then. While I worked hard to impact my students and school for good I also enjoyed weekend happy hours and a pot habit. On a couple of occasions just before I came to know the Lord I could easily have killed myself or someone else driving drunk. This was a warning from God that my life was about to change drastically. </p><p>No one evangelized me. I had warning dreams. One seared the image of a brightly lit cross and crown into my mind's eye. In another my friend warned me I would come to know the love of Christ. I thought to myself But I'm not religious. Nevertheless by the Holy Spirit's leading and touch my heart was awakened to realize I love Jesus for some reason deeply. Thus began my journey learning who He is in love and in justice. </p><p>Proverbs 4:23 states Keep your heart with all vigilance for from it flow the springs of life. The question concluding this book and reflection on faith is this: How do you choose to spend your heart in all the limits that shape life? What does my love speak of life and how do I spend my love? I know that God's love spoke eternal life over me a sinner and He spent all His love on man's salvation. He purchased such grace in the ultimate sacrifice. Now how will I purchase Him my treasure? How do I spend all I have buying my field?</p>
