Treasure Island Level 4 Class 8

Treasure Island is an adventure novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson. It depicts the tale of the hunt of the ‘Treasure Island’ through the narrative of Jim a young boy who accompanies the voyage as a cabin boy under the leadership of Dr. Livesey Sir Trelawney and Captain Flint. The story revolves around the search of the ‘Treasure Island’ through the treasure map and incorporates the journey of the pirates with Captain Flint’s crew under the garb of sailors. There is an interesting narration of the plot that unveils the journey of all the crewmen on the island and finally how the treasure is obtained by the honest men and the pirates are killed with the exception of a few pirates who are stranded on the island. There is Long John Silver the leader of the pirates under the veil of cook of the ship who gets a small share in the treasure and escapes from the ship.
