Treasures in the darkness

<p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Over the past number of years circumstances have been challenging but I have found the all-time best way to deal with that has been through writing. And so 'snatches' was born. It practises the discipline of taking a difficult situation and finding strength and light within it.  My hope is that my putting thoughts on paper/screen will point the way to live with trouble but also see a way out of it. I have found the whole process beneficial to me and hopefully to anyone who reads it. </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>I have grouped my posts under the key themes that I/we all have been living with:</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><strong style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Health</strong></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis in 2005. At the beginning this label would be easily ignored or hidden. Sadly as time went on that became harder to do.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><strong style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Parenting</strong></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>My two (17 and 15) present different blessings and challenges but always inspiration. </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><strong style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Nature</strong></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>I only have to look out a window here to see something a gift from Nature to talk about. </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><strong style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Encouragement</strong></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Every week I am surprisingly given a positive thought to share. I am sure those thoughts are heaven-sent because many times I have no idea what I am going to write about right up to the day before! </span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><strong style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Pandemic</strong></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>When lockdown took us all by surprise in 2020 it became necessary to find courage and resilience to cope. So I kept writing and lit a candle to show commitment to everyone most hit by the pandemic.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><strong style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Faith</strong></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Through everything every struggle every challenge faith in a God who is always there and carries us through it all is the lynchpin of my writing. At the beginning I was tentative but as time went on I learnt that my faith was the main thing that carried me through it all and realised that it was foolish to pretend otherwise.</span></p><p></p>
