This book discusses the detection of impression fractures of long tubular bones using MSCT categorization of impression defects into groups and repair of defects according to their volume. The most common impression fractures in long tubular bones were identified and studied by localization namely proximal humerus distal radius distal femur and proximal tibia. Treatment modalities for each localization were investigated. Defects in each segment were categorized into groups with their volume assessed and repaired by different surgical techniques. Patients with fractures with a filled impaction defect were described. The results of patients who underwent surgical treatment without eliminating the impression defect were compared in the early intermediate and late periods and bone density changes were determined using MSCT.
