Infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Human immunodeficiency virus remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality globally. In Cameroon TB is also of public health concern with an incidence and a mortality rate of 194 and 30 for 100000 people respectively with predominance of female sex. Despite the fact this country has a well-established TB program these problems are as result of overlapping drug toxicities and interaction within the patient frequent presentation of false negative sputum test and difficulties in diagnosing extra-pulmonary diseases in some facilities around the territory.To determine trends in human immunodeficiency virus/tuberculosis co-infection treatment retention rate outcomes and determinants factors at Laquintinie hospital Douala from the year 2015 to 2020.
