Trial and Error

<p>A memoir about my life in law enforcement. After all the years of service to the state of North Carolina and its citizens I find myself looking back on my career with fond memories. After sharing stories through the years and writing some down for prosperity I thought through it all: I had people surrounding me with encouragement knowledge kindness and a lot of caring. I also had times when I wondered how I would ever make it to the end. Somehow it all evened out and I made it. Was it an easy career? Not always but it was rewarding. The people I met and the places I visited changed my life more than I can count. This writing is just a way to thank those who helped mold me and make me who I am.  Sometimes I was right but many times I was wrong. It was all just Trial and Error. Through the years I've told stories about my experiences with people telling me I needed to write them down. This is me; now writing them down so that my family and friends will have them to show how life was while I was here.</p>
