Dr. Neeta S Khillare Nanded and Anil S Khandagale DY Patil Inst Pune both are Assistant Professor and has extensive expertise in the field of proteomics and management of insect pest like Helicoverpa Tribolium etc. In recent years protease inhibitors were available as genetic sources for the production of insect-resistant transgenic crops. Since large-scale pesticide utilization caused deleterious effects to human health and the environment. Amylase inhibitors could be an alternative strategy on control of phytophagous and storage seed insect-pests. Current work focuses on the isolation characterisation using several techniques like PAGE SDS-PAGE MALDI-TOF PMF.
