TRUSTING LOVE

The desire for transcendence is innate in man. By virtue of his transcendence and his nature as a spirit he cannot withdraw into himself. The mystical experience which lies at the heart of religiosity places us immediately beyond our usual reassuring categories. Therese embarked on a unique spiritual adventure of a theology of the heart rather than a theology of the intellect or of reason.
