Trusting the Weather

<p><strong>After escaping a situation that left deep scars on her heart and soul Sadie relocates to a bayside town with her daughter and their dog to start again-if the past allows it.</strong></p><p>Sadie DiRosa is many things-a mother a dog owner a passionate volunteer an active community member a good friend... the list goes on. </p><p>The one thing she <em>isn't</em>? A victim of her traumatic past.</p><p>Despite what happened to her Sadie is bound and determined to escape a past that nearly destroyed her. She sets her sights on new beginnings and seeks a small town where she can reinvent herself into the person she wants to be. The most important part of that town: a space for her to blend into the local community. </p><p>Sadie finds what she's looking for in Colchester Vermont. With her young daughter Avery and their pup Maddie the three relocate to the shores of Malletts Bay a part of Lake Champlain and just north of Burlington. </p><p>Unfortunately even her best efforts to forget what happened begin to fail in their new life and Sadie must come to accept that the choices she has made in her past are just like the weather: they have unpredictable outcomes. And those unpredictable outcomes will impact who she is at her core and everyone she is closest to. </p><p>As she attempts to rebuild herself and her family's life in Malletts Bay Sadie faces the realization she's been running away from: the calm and security she has experienced in her new town has placed her in the eye of the storm. </p>
