Tsunami Hazard Assessment on the coast of Lingayen Gulf Philippines

Tsunami hazard assessment is an integral part of tsunami risk mitigation so as to project a possible scenario in case of an event of tsunami in an affected area. It is an imperative move to help urban/rural planners decide on zoning ordinances pertaining to the design of coastal developments. This study also may give an insight to local disaster managers in designing their tsunami evacuation routes and tsunami evacuation sites.
