Tumours of the Mediastinum

In the last decade tremendous progress has been made in the diagnosis and treatment of tumours of the mediastinum. The use of immunohistochemistry molecular biology electron microscopy CT and MRI and a better knowledge of tumour markers has made for better diagnosis often without the need for biopsy in many cases.
