Turkological Essays

Global community shows great interest in Kazakhstan and the Kazakh people. We hope that this book will help people interested in the history and culture of Kazakhstan to obtain more information about this state and its people. The book consists of two parts. The first chapter represents small articles. These articles aim at popularizing scientific information about the ancient interaction between the Turkic and Slavic people. The second chapter is devoted to the interaction of the Kazakh (Turkic) and Russian (Slavic) languages at the level of word stock. Here the author pays special attention to the peculiarities of translation of such a linguistic fact as paroemia.
