<p>Newly elected Labour Parliamentarian Rowan Cannon has done the unthinkable: engaged in a tempestuous love affair with a member of the opposition. Everyone seems to be conspiring to keep them apart and a predatory tabloid journalist stalks Rowan for salacious secrets. Meanwhile Rowan's lover Simon Marler blows hot and cold.</p><p> </p><p>Repressed and conservative as well as fiercely ambitious Simon is desperately trying to hide his feelings and turn his treacherous love for Rowan into a healthy partisan hatred that will meet with the approval of his peers. But no matter how hard they try Rowan and Simon find it impossible to avoid each other including hurling insults across the Commons chamber demonstrating that if no other intercourse is available the verbal will have to do.</p>
