Two Boys

<p>In these days of the Corona virus pandemic people are searching history for similar disruptive events that might help in understanding its long and short term impact.  Two Boys provides a peek at disrupted lives from long ago and tells us we can endure.</p><p>Two Boys is a description of the early life of two men born a day apart in 1940 and half way around the world from each other.  This is the story of the world from the perspective of two boys.  By nature this book is historical but on a very personal level.  For example what did preteens think about the polio epidemic or how did a preteen feel about being a refugee.  How did World War II impact families or what is the lasting impact of facing a firing squad? This book illustrates behind every headline there are real people with real lives who have real stories just like us.</p>
