<p>Rail enthusiasts are nothing new. An early trainspotter was 14-year-old Fanny Gordon who in 1861 recorded the names of locomotives passing Westbourne Park station on the Great Western Railway.</p><p>One of the many activities of rail enthusiasts is to photograph them and part of the fun is to share the photos.</p><p>Another joy is to sit and read or page through a book or a magazine with pictures and information about trains.</p><p>This little book was put together at the request of the family railfan in order precisely to sit and look at pictures of German U-Bahn trains.</p><p>The author and his family share the opportunity and hope the reader will enjoy our selection of photos.</p>
