Ujjibon

About the Book: A poor mother learned a few life-changing messages of Sri Maa Sarada in her teens. Her husband was a drunkard who died prematurely. The poor mother to come out of the distressful situation encouraged her son with those inspiring words of the Holy Mother. ‘Ujjibon’ is a Bengali novel that depicts the spectacular transformation of her son who explored to internalize the spirit of those messages and embraced substantial changes in his attitude and behaviour with exceptional perseverance and determination. Thus he could enjoy and experience a life with abiding joy and peace as expounded by the wise and enlightened minds. About the Author: The author studied literature and used to write articles stories in Bengali for little magazines in his youth. He worked in a bank for three decades and had the opportunity to observe many promising entrepreneurs who grew up in most ordinary families. But what they had in common was clear vision exemplary courage and tenacity to go forward. They accomplished success by pursuing their dreams with untiring diligence and unyielding determination. It is they who were great inspiration for the author to write about people. He is now settled in Kolkata and engaged in writing novels memoirs and travelogues in Bengali.
