Ultrasounds are mechanical waves with many applications that allow the development of techniques that are neither invasive nor harmful to health. This work focuses on the field of dental implantology developing a non-destructive system for monitoring the process of Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR). However the ROG technique presents surgical acts and its diagnosis is based on radiological tests to plan the implant placement. This research is based on developing a study to give a diagnosis of the regeneration of the bone system by means of the ultrasound technique as these are non-ionising do not require surgical procedures and are relatively inexpensive. Experimental studies have been carried out with different transducers with frequency ranges of 0.5 1 5 and 7.5 MHz on the behaviour of different aqueous solutions that equate this regeneration in the bone measuring and calculating parameters such as the speed of sound and broadband ultrasonic attenuation by means of the echo impulse technique with the aim of establishing a diagnostic tool for the evaluation of bone quality in this procedure.
