Kody was an ordinary boy going through puberty and teenage challenges. At the age of five his father abandoned his family making his current situation more difficult. Due to his rebellious nature his mother felt it was time for a new start: boarding school. Hearing this news Kody doesn't know how he will survive. However Kody's wrong. Once at boarding school he forms an unbreakable bond with his best friend Dustin and develops unexpected feelings for a girl named Kayla.
