Under the Icing

Rose a single mother and recovering alcoholic has always longed for a significant person in her life to convince her that she is worthy of love and friendship. Sure that her current lover and father of her expected baby is her Knight in Shining Armour she believes he will provide her with with the loving and secure family life she craves. Her daughter in foster care will be restored to her but her social worker seems sceptical and her friends are suggesting that he might not be all she thinks he is. What if they are right? Has he a hidden agenda? Such a revelation could plunge her into a morass of despair from which she would need to find the will and strength to rebuild her life and no longer be a perpetual victim.
