Understanding Your Partner

It is human nature to greatly appreciate a new love interest and to give that person great care and admiration. Unfortunately it is also human nature to become satisfied and take people for granted with the passage of time. Just as a child can eagerly treat a new toy as valuable and cherished only to lose interest and later ignore it long-time partners will stop treating each other as they did during the initial excitement of the contact. Once kids careers and the groceries are added to the mix that early level of loving compassion and respect can easily shrink. Ultimately there is no simple trick to regenerate desire and re-connect passionately in a long-lasting connection. It takes work on your part and you have to try multiple avenues all of which will lead to a more optimistic and connected partnership.
