Unified Information and Telecom Systems (UITS) of Air Transport

The book analyzes the international practice of development and implementation of unified information and telecommunication systems (UITS) on flights in airspace. The concept of SWIM and the potential of its use in the UITS and global approaches to ensuring the interoperability of systems and data are considered. The analysis of the CDM / A-CDM concept and the potential of its use in the UITS is presented. Existing and prospective digital communication channels and the possibilities of their application in the UITS as well as existing and prospective digital services methods of their delivery to objects and subjects of transport infrastructure are considered. The analysis of foreign experience and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) policy in the field of interaction between civil and military air navigation systems is carried out.
