Unlocked

Unlocked is a collection of 50 poems that touch on different topics. The overall style of writing is free verse with a few haiku poems. This book expresses how she feels as a young black christian woman living in America. Coming from the mind of an introvert Unlocked is the release of many emotions always kept inside. There are moments of anger pain love encountering God and even being a little quirky. The hope behind this book is that other young people can relate to these feelings and will become inspired to follow their dreams of expressing themselves through art whether that looks like writing painting singing or dancing. We all have a voice but its how we use it that matters.
